The Average Person Has Lost 90% of Their Friends in the Past Decade

There’s some pretty deep irony here.  In the decade that Facebook has existed, most people have lost all their ACTUAL friends.  A new survey found more than two-thirds of Americans say they’ve lost 90% of their friends in the past 10 years.

Did it happen to you?  Think back to who you hung out with on New Year’s 2006, and ask yourself if you’re still tight with any of them.

The top five reasons that people have drifted away from a friend are . . .

1.  Moving to a new city.

2.  Just generally growing apart.

3.  Getting into a relationship.

4.  Getting into a huge fight with each other.

5.  Losing them after a breakup.  Like, they picked sides and stayed friends with your ex, not you.
