A Cop Took a Woman Shopping After Her Kids’ Winter Clothes Got Stolen

A woman from Massachusetts recently got diagnosed with cancer, and was in Westampton, New Jersey last Monday for a medical procedure.  (Westampton is about 20 miles south of Trenton.)

She brought her four kids with her, and was doing laundry at their hotel when she fell asleep.  And when she woke up, someone had STOLEN all of their winter clothing.  All they had left to wear were their pajamas.  Police haven’t released her name and age.  But she looks like she’s in her 30’s, and her kids are all between 4 and 10.

Luckily two cops named Andrew Brewer and Joshua Wood showed up after she reported it.  And when they found out she couldn’t afford new clothes, they decided they couldn’t let her kids make the trip home like that.

So they made a few calls, found an anonymous donor who wanted to help and took them shopping for NEW winter clothing at a nearby Target.

They also bought the mom some new stuff.  And there’s a photo circulating on Facebook of one of the cops shopping with them.   (Check out the photo here.)
