1.  Samsung started in 1938 in Korea as a company that exported food like dried fish to China.


2.  Disney hasn’t added a new country to Epcot’s World Showcase since 1988, when they added Norway.  But they have room for six more.  Originally, Israel, equatorial Africa, and Spain were supposed to be included, but they were cut.


3.  Crystal meth was invented in Japan in 1919.


4.  H&R Block owns the copyright for the GIF file format.  It was created by the old Internet company Compuserve, which H&R Block acquired.


5.  The second episode of “Saturday Night Live” during its first season 1975 was almost all music and no comedy.  It had 11 musical performances, including a reunion between Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.
