Call it a true classic rock double header...and the quintessential live concert experience.
In a career first, iconic and Grammy-winning rock band YES will perform two of their classic albums in their entirety, all in one concert, on a special tour in 2013: 1971’s The Yes Album and 1972’s Close To The Edge. Music audiences will experience the albums, each representing an important milestone in YES’ career, performed from beginning to end.
The multi-platinum progressive rock band-bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes and singer Jon Davison-will kick off the North American tour March 1 and come to Silver Legacy's Grande Exposition Hall on Saturday, March 9 at 8pm.
The tour will mark the first time since 1973 that YES, who have sold close to 50 million albums worldwide, have performed an album onstage in its entirety.
Founded in 1968 by Jon Anderson and Chris Squire, Grammy-award winning recording artists YES have created some of the most important and influential music in rock history, such as iconic pieces “Roundabout,” “Close to the Edge,” “I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Owner of a Lonely Heart” and countless others. Having sold tens of millions of records over its four-decade career, YES continues creating masterful music that inspires fans and musicians from around the world.
